Hello friends!
First of all I wanted to thank so many of you who texted, emailed, or commented on the last article. I am deeply encouraged that what I have been discerning as a renewed invitation to pray for revival in Canada is being experienced by many. Praise God!
To encourage those prayers, I want to share the news of the move of God that has broken out at Asbury College in the least week. Some of you are already tracking with this, others maybe hadn’t heard. I highly recommend you read this quick article by Pastor Bill Elliff so you can fully grasp how influential this could be — then let’s join our hearts to ask the Lord to fan this into a national/international flame! Could it be that this is a “do it again Lord” moment that we’ve been crying out for?!
What’s Been Happening?
Since Wednesday chapel, there has been a non-stop meeting of prayer, worship, and responding to the powerful moving of the Spirit. Many are calling it a revival. It is being shepherded wisely by College leaders and a trained prayer team and doesn’t look like it is winding down, but rather picking up speed. While there are a few hundred gathered in the early mornings, the chapel auditorium (1500 seat) is completely packed later in the day. People are now driving in from other states to experience what God is doing, students are flying in from all over America.
Sara
Thank you so much for this amazing update.
May we pursue the Lord in a fresh endeavour to see a move of God in our lives, preparing our hearts to call out to the Lord for the world we live in.
May it be a new permanent move in our lives and not a passing phase.
Thank you Sara for sharing this! I was just on a zoom call this morning (Feb 11th) for the Life Room prayer that Faytene Gresseschi has set up for 24/7 prayer for life issues in Canada and Lou Engle was on the call. He made a brief reference to Asbury College and what is happening so not knowing too much about it this article and your comments are so helpful and appreciated! I must forward the link to the article to our pastor as well! Do it again Lord!
